Eartec HUB Intercoms with Global Connect and lightweight headsets provide discreet full duplex communication over IP enhancing the capability of videoconferencing and videotelephony. When added to a computer or smartphone these Global Connect systems allow up to 8 mobile wireless users on one side of a web chat to communicate hands free through computer or cell phone to persons on the other side of the call anywhere in the world over the internet.
All Global Connect systems begin with a custom wireless intercom that includes a compact repeater called The HUB along with any combination of up to 8 UltraPAK transceivers with plug-in headsets. The HUB is a mini base station that provides larger groups hands free wireless communication. UltraPAK are compact full duplex radios that are linked via the HUB right "Out of The Box". To operate simply turn your HUB and UltraPAK "ON" and talk. Featherweight Cyber and lightweight Monarch headsets options provide discreet operation and outstanding comfort. The complete HUB w/ UltraPAK intercom interfaces with the internet via the Global Connect kit that includes an interconnect cable assembly for smartphone as well as USB with soundcard for laptop / desktop. Once a videoconference or webchat is established via Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams etc. simply plug-in your HUB system and everyone that is communicating within a 400-yard range is automatically linked to your party or parties on the other side of the internet conference / chat. (iPhone requires dongle, not included)
Since all Eartec transceivers are field programmable standard 2-person systems are easily expandable simply by adding additional UltraPAK with Cyber or Monarch headsets. Operating in the non-licensed DECT band (Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology) the HUB Global Connect will not interfere with other RF equipment including WIFI.
