At the heart of all UltraLITE full duplex intercoms is a base or "MAIN" headset that relays the digital signals generated by up to four other "Remote" units. The resulting hands-free talking pattern links up to 5 crew within a 1/4 mile range. All UltraLITE include Eartec's "Auto Mute" mic boom. These specialty microphones swivel 270 degrees to be worn on either left or right and automatically cut off the headset gain when set to the UP position. UltraLITE are powered by Lithium Polymer batteries (included) that charge externally and are field replaceable. This means that charged spare batteries can be kept at the ready extending the standard 6 hr. run time when necessary. Operating in the non-licensed DECT band (Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology), UltraLITE will not interfere with other RF equipment. They are field programmable and expandable to accommodate your growing needs. A soft side storage case is included.
