When using Ikan's PT4500W-SDI-P2P System, the interviewer and the interviewee are able to look directly into the camera lens while still seeing and looking directly at an image of each other. This equates to a natural one-on-one interview style which is also, because of the direct eye contact, much more involving for the audience. When the interviewer asks a question, he or she is looking right into the eyes of the viewer. When the interviewee answers the question, he or she is also looking directly into the eyes of the audience and in essence giving his or her answers to them. No longer is the audience sitting off to the side and observing the interview; they become a part of the interview.
Extreme Clarity
The glass is coated so that it reflects 70% of the light projected onto it while allowing the remaining 30% to pass through. This unique characteristic enables the presenter to read the reflected script text clearly, projected from a monitor below or behind the glass, while simultaneously allowing the camera positioned directly behind the glass to record through it without capturing the reflected text.
Large Range of Camera Compatibility
Ikan's professional line of teleprompters not only include three different camera mount bases but also counterweights to allow for a large range of different-sized cameras to work. The counterweights can be split so that the teleprompter can support a 5 lbs counterweight or a 2.5 lbs counterweight. The base can conveniently slide to adjust the weight without the need to remove the plate.
Widescreen Teleprompter Monitor
The 15-inch Widescreen Monitor features 3D-SDI, HDMI, and VGA, inputs. The native resolution is 1920 x 1080 HD and max brightness is 1000 nits. The OSD adjustment menu allows adjustment for contrast, brightness, backlight, tint, chroma, sharpness. You can also adjust the intensity of each RGB color channel. Aspect ratio can be set as 16:9, 4:3, full, or it can be set to automatically detect the aspect ratio and set it accordingly. When plugged into a compatible video switcher, the monitor utilizes a red/green tally light that lets you know when your camera is live.
