Part of the Kiloview cradle series of encoders and decoders, the RE-1 HD/3G-SDI Video Encoding Card (Version 2) mounts in your cradle and takes up to a 1080p60 input video signal. The card encodes your streaming video and is compatible with a variety of protocols, while being suitable for video conferencing, remote learning, network programming, and multimedia uses. A loop-through BNC output allows you to view the output on a local monitor and a USB Type-A port provides an option for PTZ control, intercom, or recording externally.
Your cradle supplies power and the encoding card just slides into the cradle and is secured with two captive screws. The card supports audio encoding of the embedded signal, and it includes a 3.5mm port for a separate audio input. The cradle ecosystem supports H.264 video encoding as well as text overlay and other features controllable via its WEB interface.
