The Prompter People TRI-HD500-DOLLY is a 3-Section Aluminum Heavy-Duty Tripod System with a Heavy Duty Tripod and fluid cartridge head and dolly that supports up to 50lbs. It's specifically designed for the latest DV to broadcast cameras. This HD Tripod is compact, lightweight, and incorporates all of the features required by Broadcasters, including an advanced drag system which ensures smooth pan and tilt control, plus smooth stop and starts. The HD Tripod features a high performance video head equipped with fluid cartridges that provide continuous drag on both pan and tilt axis with independent pan and tilt locks. The tripod is low profile to reduce the center of gravity for handling heavy loads and has a sliding Quick Release Mount for balancing the camera. It's a threestage, high-tensile heat treated aluminum alloy tripod that is extremely rigid, stable and designed to be shock resistant.
