Color scrollers have been a part of theaters, concert stages, and film sets for over 40 years but the key link in this creative control are the cables that string them together. Without a reliable scroller cable, your live productions will never achieve the desired effect and this is where the Sescom SCROLL-4XMF shines bright.
This 4-pin scroller cable sends both power and DMX control to a color changer providing a remote means of switching gels. These cables are also used for a "daisy chain" connection where power & control can feed in and out of a number of gelstrings allowing your DMX system to control multiple units from a single source.
Cables are hand crafted in the Sescom shop with Belden 1502R cable, which employs a two conductor 22AWG data feed and a two conductor 18 AWG power feed, terminated to Neutrik NC4MXX 4-pin male and NC4FXX 4-pin female connectors.
These cables can be used in conjunction with fixtures such as the Apollo MXR 2, Chroma-Q Cascade, Morpheus ColorFader and the Wybron CXI or any other power and lighting converter that utilizes a 4-pin XLR connection.
