    AC-DN10A - Overview

    The Sony AC-DN10A is a battery charger for Sony Lithium-ion battery packs.It functions as an AC adapter when attached to a portable device, such as a camcorder.

    Please Note: BP-M50/M100 Nickel Metal Hydride Battery Packs cannot be charged with the unit.

    Maximum Power Supply of 100 W DC
    The unit supplies a maximum of 16.7 V DC, 6 A to a device with a maximum input voltage rating of 17 V. The unit can charge a battery pack while supplying DC power to the connected device. However, when there is insufficient current for battery charging due to DC power supply to the device, the battery charging is stopped (DC supply to the camcorder or other device is maintained).

    Battery Backup Function
    Should the AC power cord be accidentally unplugged from the AC power source, a charged lithium-ion battery pack attached to the unit provides an alternate back-up power to the connected device.
