BURNISHING PROBES: Burnishers eliminate noise and intermittency encountered in normal patching situations. Stop the scratchy static sounds caused by dirt, spills and corrosion. Simply insert the burnishing tool, twist and remove. Use this tool if you have problems with a patch jack in standard patching situations (i.e. patching a tape machine into the console, or a limiter into a channel). SOLVENT INJECTORS: Clean noisy and intermittent connections in the breaking contacts (normals) of the patch jack that occur after a patch cord has been removed. To use, insert vertigo injector into a patch jack, and insert spray solvent extender tube into back of tool. Spray, and the injector tool will direct the spray to the now opened breaking contacts, enabling them to be cleansed without dismantling the patch bay. Use this tool if you have problems with a set of patch jacks normalled together that are intermittent or dirty after a patch cord has been removed (i.e. a tape return patch point that appears at console line in).
