The MAX-Wall system from Auralex is a modular, interlocking acoustic treatment solution for those who don't want, or aren't allowed, to mount anything on their walls. Additionally the system is useful for the facility that serves a variety of acoustical purposes and has the need to reconfigure areas. Any combination can be set-up in minutes with no tools, no adhesive and no fuss.
The MAX-Wall is very absorptive, even at low frequencies and offers great broadband absorption while still being incredibly linear, with an overall NRC of 1.05. The panels are also thick enough to yield a pretty high degree of sound containment. They can be used to set up a temporary isolation booth and while not delivering complete isolation, they will provide enough containment to not have to monitor using headphones.
The MAX-Wall 200 consists of two 20" x 48" x 4 3/8' panels that can be used to customize other MAX-Wall kits with added panels. Or they can be placed around a vocalist, instrumentalist, voice talent, or control room mix position for added isolation and additional absorption and bass trapping. These panels do not come with stands.
