The Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO MKII studio headphones represent the second generation of this popular premium model, designed for mixing, mastering, and editing, thanks to their open-back design and wide soundstage.
Made in Germany, these headphones deliver enhanced sound quality, improved comfort, and industry-leading craftsmanship. At their core is the new TESLA.45 driver technology. Completely redesigned, the 45 mm driver system delivers exceptional resolution, extremely low distortion, and outstanding impulse response. Utilizing weight-optimized materials, TESLA.45 offers both top-notch sound quality and flexibility.
With an impedance of 30 ohms, the DT 1990 PRO MKII studio headphones can be used with a variety of devices. In terms of sound, these reference headphones offer precise bass response down to the lowest octaves. The slightly reduced treble compared to the previous model provides high detail while helping to avoid errors during mixing, especially in modern productions with complex high-frequency profiles.
These studio headphones are designed for extended studio sessions, offering excellent comfort. The durable spring-steel headband ensures optimal pressure distribution, while the comfortable velour ear pads prevent heat build-up. The memory foam-padded headband adapts perfectly to the shape of your head, and the new fontanelle recess avoids pressure on sensitive areas. Both the headband and ear pads are easily replaceable. The DT 1990 PRO MKII comes with two different ear pad options for maximum flexibility. The standard "Production Velours" slightly boost bass for a fuller sound, while the "Mixing & Mastering Velours" provide a more precise, analytical sound.
The package also includes two cables: a 3-meter straight cable and a 5-meter coiled cable, both featuring lockable 3-pin mini XLR plugs. Everything is securely stored in a high-quality hard case.
