The Camplex CMX-3GSFP-TR transmitter module accepts a 75 ohm BNC coax input and converts it into an optical stream to be sent via a standard LC fiber cable. At the receive end, the unit coverts the signal back to a standard BNC output. LED indicators are included on the products to help indicate fiber connection, power and SDI signal presence.
Units use their own power supplies or accept any 5V DC power via mini-XLR connection. Because the optical transceivers are SFP based, you can swap out the SFP module for CWDM wavelength or DWDM wavelength applications if you are seeking to create a MUX system.
