This HDMI output is convenient in various ways and will act as a perfect companion to the USB output. While your computer is capturing the video from the USB output, the additional HDMI output will allow you to redirect the video feed to another monitor. For conferencing or vlogging, you can plug your camera into the HDMI input. After you've connected the USB-A output to your computer, connect another HDMI cable into the HDMI output and into a talent monitor or reference monitor to use various features like waveform, false color, focus-assist, zebra bar, etc.
