Remote Audio URSA TAPEROLL BE are made of Soft Strips of Moleskin applied to hypoallergenic sticky tape. They are great for reducing clothing rustle and camouflaging microphones.
Founded in 2015 by UK based Sound Mixer Simon Bysshe and his partner Laura Smith who works as a Costume Designer each URSA product was created to meet a specific need in the field and built to withstand the rigors of location sound production.
You can use URSA Tape Soft Strips in a tie rig to stick down the cable and provide padding for the microphone capsule, or URSA Tape can be applied to a mic to stick directly to skin. URSA Tape is also handy for covering over things that might rub and irritate artists. You cannot tear URSA Tape so scissors must be used to cut it to shape, the roll has printed dashed lines on the backing paper to illustrate 1cm squares so you can cut in straight lines!
