The DNF Controls AIB-2 gives you the ability to manage the most sophisticated control applications with ease. Remote Control, interfacing old to new, simple device monitoring and more, the AIB-2 provides you with the right tools for projects large and small. Designed to get the job done with super fast Ethernet 100 baseT full duplex, a RS232 and RS422 serial port, SNMP Messaging and SNMP Trap Monitoring, simply put the AIB-2 gives you control.
The AIB is configured using a standard web browser (Safari, Firefox, or Chrome). Just enter the AIB's IP address in the Address/ URL bar which is typically located at the top of the web browser page, to access the Home Page. Use the links on the left side of the Home Page to access the desired configuration web pages. All configuration settings are saved in non-volatile memory in the AIB and are retained when power is removed. Settings may be uploaded to a computer as a configuration file (.dnf) for storage. With the AIB-2 you can create multiple configurations for special events, weekend staffing, any temporary need.
Use the AIB-2 when you need to...
Turn on a GPI to send a Serial or Ethernet message / command. Turn off the GPI to send another.
Fire a GPI to send a TCP, UDP, SNMP, or HTTP message that gets the job done
Receive Serial or Ethernet data to turn on/off a GPI Output
Receive specific Serial data and then transmit an Ethernet or SNMP notification
Receive Ethernet data and generate a replacement Serial command
Trigger a simple or complex sequence of actions from a GPI
Periodically send a heartbeat message: "I'm alive!"
Use a Watchdog timer to transmit an SNMP notification after a time period of no heartbeats
Monitor SNMP Traps and turn on a GPI Output (GPO)
