P-V284 - Overview

For operators of Sony's HVR series camcorders, the P-V284 V-Plate features dual 2-Pin D-Taps - one 2-Pin D-Tap serves as the 8.4V (regulated) connection; and a second 2-Pin D-Tap is included for optional accessory power - its unregulated battery throughput voltage output can be as high as 16.8V with IDX Li-Ion batteries.

  • Features:

    • Allows IDX V-Mount ENDURA series batteries to power small profile cameras and provide longer camera run-times(when combined with proper IDX adaptor cable)
    • P-V284 can be combined with IDX C-SONC cable to power Sony HVR Series Cameras
    • Remaining battery capacity can be displayed in the camera's viewfinder for confidence monitoring (feature available on camera systems capable of displaying DigiView).
    • Able to be mounted onto the A-MWR, A-CP(A) adaptors
    • (2) 50W 2-pin D-Tap connectors - (1) Unregulated & (1) Regulated 8.4V
