The RCF COMPACT C 32 is a multipurpose two-way point source speaker, suitable for a wide range of near and mid-distance applications. The combination of a 3" neodymium compression driver, a 12" neodymium woofer, and a constant directivity rotatable waveguide produces coherent 100° x 50° coverage for the listening area with high SPL, and distortion-free sound. The sleek and lightweight wood cabinet uses a special polyurea coating and a robust powder-coated grille with protective foam. Optional mounting accessories allow for wall or ceiling installation.
High Frequencies
The compression driver voice-coil design with titanium dome provides very natural sound with high power handling and the best durability over time. This allows lowering the usual crossover point for a perfect vocal performance at mid frequencies, also improving coupling with the low-frequency transducer.
Low Frequencies
Low-frequency transducer design gains more stability over higher currents, with less distortion, and is highly efficient in terms of heat dissipation. RCF quality control is very strict. RCF's woofers are tested with a 200 hours continuous signal to stress the transducer at extreme levels.
Constant Directivity Waveguide
The special waveguide design allows the deployment of COMPACT C speakers with accurate control of the directional characteristics. In difficult acoustic environments, intelligibility is significantly increased. The speaker also features a 100° x 50° rotatable constant directivity waveguide. Using the optional HN-KIT COMPACT C 32 C 45 accessory, it is possible to replace the speaker horn with two different horns and change directivity to 100° x 25° or 60° x 25°.
The Solution for Impressively Powerful Sound
COMPACT C flexibility makes it a smart choice for a wide range of applications. Combining high-quality birch plywood cabinets with a 100° x 50° rotatable constant directivity waveguide, the speaker can be installed either horizontally or vertically. The sleek cabinet features a robust polyurea coating and is easy to be flown-, wall-, or truss-mounted using the multiple rigging points available and optional accessories.
Please Note! The rear panel displays 2 sockets, both for `Neutrik Speakon NL4' (4-pole) plugs: One of the two sockets receives the signal from the amplifier; the other one becomes the "THROUGH" socket and be used to link another speaker. The impedance value of each loudspeaker is 8 Ohm.
