S-8D58 is the replacement battery for Panasonic VW-VBD58, compatible with Panasonic P2HD new Camcorder AJ-PX270 / 285 / 298.
A 5.5/2.1mm pole-tap DC output socket is equipped on the S-8D58 battery, for DC 7.2V (Nominate) connection. You can connect on-camera LED light, monitor or wireless transmitter on the pole-tap socket, and get power simultaneously with camera.
S-8D58 can be charged on Panasonic original charger DE-A88, and SWIT also provides a dual channel charger S-3602D for S-8D58. It takes about 4 hours to charge from empty to 100%. And you can also use SWIT S-3010D Portable pole-tap charger for S-8D58. It will take 7 hours to fully charge the battery.
