The OTTICA™ PTZ Video Camera from Ikan features a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and 5.5-110mm varifocal lens with 20x zoom to capture videos at a maximum resolution of 1080p at 60fps. It supports POE (802.3af), HDMI, SDI, Ethernet (NDI|HX), RS-232, RS-485, and audio-in connectivity. The camera uses a step drive motor mechanism and motor drive controller for smooth and noiseless PTZ operation. In addition, it supports H.264/H.265 video compression and AAC, MP3, and G.711A audio compression formats.
CAMERA PERFORMANCE
Advanced ISP processing algorithms provide vivid images with a strong sense of depth, high resolution, and fantastic color rendition. The OTTICA supports H.265/H.264 encoding which makes motion video fluent and clear even with less than ideal bandwidth conditions. A full-bandwidth NDI 1080p x60 fps video data stream uses approximately 100Mbps, whereas a video data stream using NDI|HX only uses around 10Mbps (approximately 1/10th of full-bandwidth NDI), which is a significant reduction in bandwidth required for sending the video data stream through the network.
