This Rolls MS211 desktop mic stand will allow you to momentarily mute (or talk) a microphone signal. The Push To Mute function is very useful in the event of a sneeze, cough, or other possible distracting noise while using a mic to record a podcast or any other situation you would need to temporarily mute a mic signal. It can also be configured to Push To Talk if you need to control when a mic is active for announcing, paging or for sports broadcasting.
The MS211 PTT or PTM mic stand is a passive design.
That means NO power required, NO electronics used and NO distortion will ever be added.
The chassis is made from .090" steel, meaning it is 3 times thicker than most chassis. Female XLR jack for connection to your mic and Male XLR for output.
All this and it is 100% Handcrafted in Salt Lake City, UT.
