The Tripp Lite B127U-111-PDPD DisplayPort extender kit with pigtail transmitter and receiver is the perfect solution for extending a 4K signal via Cat6 cable to a DisplayPort monitor up to 230 ft. away.
DisplayPort Extender Kit Ideal for Digital Signage in Schools, Restaurants and Lecture Halls
This complete transmitter and receiver system is recommended for video presentations in conference rooms, schools, trade shows, meeting facilities, houses of worship, retail settings, hotels and other digital signage applications where the source and display are farther apart than conventional A/V cables allow. The B127U-111-PDPD extends 4K signals from a DisplayPort source to a DisplayPort monitor up to 230 feet (70.1 meters) away via user-supplied Cat6 cabling. The one-foot pigtail design of the transmitter and receiver makes the units easy to install, especially in tight spaces.
Transmits Crystal-Clear 4K Video with Multi-Channel Audio, HDR and 4:4:4 Color
The B127U-111-PDPD supports Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 60 Hz with uncompressed DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and 7.1-channel digital audio. High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 4K display. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream 4K content with no complications. This extender kit also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
Multi-Resolution Support Allows Mixing and Matching of Displays of Different Resolutions
Say you have a brand new 4K/60 Hz HDTV in the living room, but want to also connect your Blu-ray player or media server to the older 1080p TV in the kitchen and the 4K/30 Hz monitor in your home office. The B127U-111-PDPD is backward compatible with 4K/30 Hz and 1080p resolutions via automatic switching, allowing each connected television to display video at its maximum resolution without affecting the other outputs.
Local HDMI Port on Transmitter Supports 4K @ 60 Hz Resolution
To monitor the video signal being extended to the transceiver, connect a 4K display to the transmitter's local HDMI port with a user-supplied HDMI cable. This port does not support multi-resolution capabilities, so the connected monitor must also support 4K/60 Hz to function properly.
Plug-and-Play Operation for Quick Setup and Use
The included transmitter and receiver units work right out of the box with no software required. Both feature a one-foot USB-A pigtail connector as the primary power source. Plug the USB connector on the transmitter into a USB-A power adapter (such as U280-W01-QC3-1, sold separately), and plug the receiver into the display's USB-A port. User-supplied 24 AWG Cat6 cabling connects the transmitter and receiver. Note: The transmitter and receiver can also be powered through their Micro-USB ports.
