The AC-MXNET-10G-CBOX serves as the central control unit for the SDVoE AV over IP ecosystem. Connected to the MXNet 10G network system switch (or a third party multicast capable switch), the AC-MXNET-10G-CBOX maintains communication with all MXNet 10G transceivers to manage multicast data distribution, audio/video switching - including matrix routing presets, and command destination mapping for RS-232, IR or USB extension control signals.
Pre-installed onboard every AC-MXNET-10G-CBOX is AVPro Edge's state-of-the-art proprietary MXNet Mentor web application platform, featuring a suite of intuitive ecosystem utilities designed for efficient system configuration, resource management, device customization, and operational status diagnostics. Also centralized for storage and hosting by the AC-MXNET-10G-CBOX are system logic and the API utilized by the MXNet Mentor web interface plus third-party control systems.
MXNet Mentor is an HTML5-based simple to use interface, designed for flexible control over an extensive array of complex tasks. Video-oriented features for all downstream decoders, addressable by Mentor from a remote single control location, include MultiView compositing, video wall configuration with sizing and bezel administration, fully matrixable A/V routing - including audio breakaway from video, plus matrix preset saving and downloading.
EDID management, output scaling, frame rate conversion, and aspect ratio management are also controlled by MXNet Mentor. Maintenance utilities include remote firmware updating to CBOX plus encoders and decoders, restoration of factory defaults, along with complete system diagnostic topographical analysis.
During system deployment and upon completion of real-world connectivity, Mentor's auto-setup feature replicates mechanical attributes of the physical system within a digital space. MAC addresses are detected and cataloged from all connected encoders and decoders, with each device subsequently auto-assigned an IP address plus a multicast channel.
