This switchable input attenuator is great for stepping-down input level to a mixer when the level is too hight. Maybe you've got a hot microphone in front of a loud source, and you're "pegging the meters" at the board. Just insert the ATT-448 attenuator in the line between the mic and the board, and switch in the appropriate amount of attenuation to match the level the board wants to see. You can choose 20, 30, or 40dB of signal reduction, for a wide range of uses on stage and in the studio.
