Basically a shorter version of the 3500L, the Azden SGM-3500 measures 7" long. The comparatively shorter interference tube generates a slightly less directional supercardioid polar pattern, that still provides excellent rejection of off-axis sound. While perfectly suitable as a boom microphone, the shorter length makes the 3500 a more practical choice for on-camera mounting.
