Perfect for conference rooms, board rooms, or even larger applications, Panasonics WX-ST700 DECT wireless boundary mic features an unidirectional electret condenser microphone to provide superior dialog clarity and speech intelligibility in a wide are with little interference. The WX-ST700 also features two modes of operation - Always On or Push-to-Talk (PTT), easily selectable via dip switches in the battery compartment. This wireless boundary mic transmits over 1.9GHZ to any Panasonic 1.9 GHZ Digital Wireless Microphone Receiver (WX-SR202 / 202DN, WX-SR204 / 204DN, WX-SE200 / 200DN, sold separately).
A recessed capacitive touch control is located on the top of the wireless boundary mic which functions as a mute button (when the mic is set to Always On mode) or a PTT button (when the mic is set to PTT mode). Additional controls include a hard on/off switch on the side of the boundary mic. LED indicators for power, status, talk, mic input level and charging provide easy status information without distraction during the meeting.
The WX-ST700 also features a 3.5mm audio input connector (for transmitting audio from a PC or smartphone instead of the microphone).
The WX-ST700 takes 2 x AA Alkaline batteries or 2 x AA NiMH batteries (which can be charged via the USB-C connection on the unit or Panasonic's WX-SZ600 4-port networked charger). Leveraging Panasonic's 20-year experience in DECT wireless audio communications, the WX-SR200P 1.9 GHz digital wireless microphone system is the best-in-class solution for classroom or corporate presentations providing low latency for hybrid in-room/virtual presentations.
Panasonic's digital wireless microphone system is easy to set up, easy to integrate with third-party control systems (such as Crestron, Extron, and Q-SYS) and easy to use.
Setup is a breeze - the wireless microphones pair wirelessly with Panasonic's digital wireless mic receiver and assigns channels automatically, eliminating the need for manual channel assignment. The system can be expandable to suit a variety of spaces, from small classrooms, medium sized classrooms / conference rooms, to large auditoriums. Up to 8 separate antennas (per receiver) can be mounted to the wall or the ceiling in the room and connected via CAT5 back to the receiver locked away in a cabinet or closet and multiple digital wireless microphone receivers can be installed to add wireless microphone channels to the room.
