The Barionet from Barix is a family of programmable network-enabled automation controllers for interfacing a wide variety of devices and systems to IP-based networks in home and industrial automation applications. With the Barix Barionet 50, most devices can be network enabled for monitoring and control via a web browser as well as other standards-based automation systems, such as SNMP and Modbus.
The Barix Barionet 50 provides a variety of standard hardware and software interfaces as well as general-purpose inputs and outputs for control and monitoring applications. Two Barionet models are currently available, the Barionet 100 (the original) and the Barix Barionet 50. The two models differ primarily in the number of inputs and outputs provided.
Universal, programmable I/O device server with web server, Modbus/TCP and SNMP support. Serial ports, digital I/O and Dallas 1-wire support.
The Barix Barionet 50 is a direct replacement for the Aiphone RY-IP44 Input/Output Network Adaptor for use with IX Series, IS-IP Series, and IPW-1A network intercom systems. It is an IP adaptor with 4 relay outputs and 4 contact inputs. Relay outputs on the RY-IP44 can be programmed to trigger when a station is calling, while in communication, or while calling and communicating. Relay outputs can also be programmed for door release. The RY-IP44 relays can be used in place of a station's built-in relay.
Please Note: The Barionet is powered by a standalone 9-30 VDC power supply, like the BARIX-BAR50PS. (sold separately)
