The Symetrix Edge Dante Digital Signal Processor is all about flexibility. With four card slots and a wide option of user-installable cards, Edge is the go-to DSP when you need a very specific combination of features and nothing else will work.
Total Input/Output Flexibility. When a preconfigured DSP just won't do, Edge provides four versatile option card slots enabling unique I/O configurations - aligning the hardware with the exact system requirements. Optional cards support analog and AES-3 digital I/O as well as special purpose interfaces including USB, AEC, VoIP, and analog telephone.
Dante™ in Our DNA. Edge DSPs are equipped with an optional factory installed 128 (64x64) redundant Dante channels. The Dante protocol enables ultra-reliable multi-channel audio networking over IP. Together, Symetrix and Dante provide the fastest possible way to implement, control, and maintain a system of networked DSPs and accessories - including third party Dante-enabled microphones, loudspeakers, power amps, and mixing consoles. And an option without Dante provides even more accessible DSP pricing for standalone systems.
On-board 10/100 and Gigabit Switches. Unique to Symetrix Radius and Edge DSPs, built in switches lower system cost, reduce or eliminate the need for peripheral switches, and increase system reliability.
Unlimited Programming Flexibility. Edge is programmed using Composer - Symetrix' award winning open-architecture CAD application. Unique to Composer is the ability to natively configure Symetrix and select third party Dante hardware - thereby eliminating the confusion of multiple or redundant software applications.
