Composite Video is also often called Baseband video (including both NTSC-US and PAL-Europe protocols). This is the type of signal found as output on professional grade video equipment. ETS has several single and multi-channel small-form-factor baluns which permit sending these signals over UTP cable. In addition, we have NTSC-specific and electrically isolated baluns for customers with special requirements. Baseband video panels incorporating all the features of our PV840 Series video baluns in convenient, rack-mountable, 24 port panels.

Only pairs of the same type will work together.These cannot be mixed and matched! i.e. a PV843 will only work with another PV843!
Some of these part#'s indicate specific pin#'s. This indicates which pins in the unit are wired that carry the composite signal thus allowing installers or engineers to wire other components to the open pins as needed.
The pin#'s are indicated as "positive" first and "negative" second. The PV843 has the "pos" signal carried over pin 7 while the "neg" is carried over pin 8. The PV844 has the positive signal on pin 4, negative signal on pin 5 and the PV844B has the positive signal on pin 5, negative signal on pin 4. etc.etc...
